Tung Yung-Shen - Compositions on Chinese Music



Obscure LP issued in Taiwan, consisting of Tung Yung-Shen's interpretations of nine "traditional Chinese tunes". Musicians and instruments unidentified; no date - possibly released in the 1970s. Maybe a soundtrack for a festive nightmare.

    I found a copy of a record with the same name ("Tung Yung-Shen's Compositions On Chinese Music") with a different cover, and the record number is AWK-603... same label, same name, different number. The songs are different too. I bet they are part of a set.

    Good stuff anyway.
