always wondered if Zorn is a Zionist... some say most likely not because of the "internationalism" mentioned in the strip; some say definitely conservative because of how much he pushes the jewish thing...

There is certainly a somehow "racial" element in all this Jewish renaissance thing. "Great Jewish Composers"? What would happen if someone issued a "Great Caucasian Composers" collection? Or "Aryan Music for the Future"? I had heard sometime ago that Zorn refused to play in Israel, something which revealed to be false...
Yes, I would bet that Zorn is a Zionist.
Great comics. Nice to see a music sharing blog turning on to different stuff.
